To meet the demand for heavy maintenance support, Defense Tech Aerospace offers a unique and diverse blend of heavy maintenance support capabilities, stemming from tooling, maintenance stands, flightline aircraft level test equipment, to complete intermediate maintenance repair capability stand-up.
Our tooling and test equipment solutions are developed and selected from quality and certified manufacturers, entrusted and called out in technical SRMs, DMWRs, Phase Workcards, and military technical data. The intermediate repair capability stand-up solutions offered are scaled, tailored and designed specifically to a customer's test requirement and degree of complexity. Test Program Sets (TPS), fixtures, adapter cabling, and even technical data development, Defense Tech Aerospace is skilled and ready to enhance your capabilities.
MRO & DEPOT TOOLING
Directly supporting MROs, Depots, and Phased maintenance activities, Defense Tech Aerospace offers full line of electric and pneumatic tooling to support aircraft teardown and refurbishment. Supplying such tools as die grinders, reamers, and paint removal tooling, we provide a full line of quality tooling that is built for aerospace applications and durability. COUNTERSINKS / PAINT CUTTERS | A countersink is a cutter used to cut a conical hole into a manufactured object. High Speed Steel Stop Countersinks, Solid Carbide Countersinks, Rivet Shavers, Hollow Cutters, Counterbores, and Countersink Cages. |
CARBIDE BURS | Carbide burs are used for multiple industrial applications including cutting, shaping, grinding and the removal of sharp edges. High-quality single and double cut carbide burs and carbide bur sets are available in many different bur styles, shapes and lengths. |
SURFACE CONDITIONING | Surface Conditioning Tools are used for removal of paint, rust, oxides and coatings for proper preparation and finishing of sheet metal surfaces. Includes Straight and Angle Die Grinders, Orbital Sanders, Cutoff Wheels, Sealant Cutters, and Surface Conditioning Discs. |

INTERMEDIATE TEST STATIONS
Component repair and capability is an essential element in aircraft sustainment and the organic self sufficiency of an activity. Applying our engineering skills set we provide the capability to stand-up and support new component repair capability. Defense Tech Aerospace's engineering department is technically competent to assess a customer's repair capability request, the level and degree of LRU or SRU repair, and develop a test system, station, and fixtures to support the capability requested.
We offer our customers system expertise in the areas of avionics, pneumatics, hydraulic actuation, controls, instrumentation, and communications equipment. MAINTENANCE STANDS

Provisioned to support commercial and military heavy maintenance, Defense Tech Aerospace offers its customer Ground Support Equipment (GSE) that will not only increase your repair capability's efficiency, but also secure the safety of your staff.
Many of the stands that we offer are pre-configured to a given aircraft's design series, however upon request we possess the capability and relationships to customize a stand to further adapt to a customer's requirement, work areas, and additional safety needs.
